Infinity Pool
An infinity edge pool is a swimming or reflecting pool that produces a visual effect of water extending to the horizon, vanishing or extending to infinity. One type of location in which the effect is particularly impressive is where the infinity edge appears to merge with a larger body of water such as the ocean, or with the sky. Infinity edge pools are often seen at exotic resorts and other luxurious places.
- CNTraveller – Infinity pools are all about blurring the line between man-made and natural, and few places have a more gorgeous contrast than these ten hotel pools. From elephant spotting in the Serengeti to country-counting in the Golden Triangle, there’s so much more than just swimming to do at our favourite infinity pool.
- Booking.com – The abstract, geometric infinity pool at the Hotel Grace Santorini faces the island’s volcanic crater, half-submerged in the Aegean Sea. The layered terrace and the hotel decor is minimalist and all-white, forming that distinctive Greek island colour scheme against the blue of the sky and the dappled pool.
